New beginnings: the travel.

So, the travel begins in August, but still it feels like it sort of already started. Got my visa, my books, my bags, my medicine, my vaccinations, sunblock, travelling clothes that covers my sholders and knees, bading suits and most important of all; an unexpected travelling buddy. This means that we`ll probably stay for a while longer than I originally had planned... well, a lot longer it seems. My course in India lasts for about 10 weeks, then Are's gonna join me down in Pondicherry, and then... well, who knows... Kind of freaks me out really... This not knowing anything about what's gonna happen this next year- year and a half, is soooo not like me, and soooo friggin' unsetteling. But I'm doing this, putting my faith in love, peace and understanding... Literally...

I really should tell you all a little bit about who I am, and why I'm going to India. I'm Mari, 20 years old. I'm working on my bachelors on socialanthropology, and am now doing a semester in India where I'm taking a course in Peace- and conflict studies in Pondicerry, South India.

I don't know if this blog-thing is going to go the way I planned, and I don't know a thing about what I'm really going to write about, but here goes. Welcome to my world!
